My thoughts entierly.
So there ARE problems devloping games and it DOES take a LOT more work to get the most out of the PS3.
Even after you've put all that work in the games STILL DON'T LOOK ANY BETTER THAN THE XBOX 360.
I'd say this is more a win for the 360, and will give developers the nudge to maybe even drop PS3 releases.
Its all about money and if it takes that much more $$$ to make a PS3 game than a 360 game only for it to look the same, there are going to be some not so high profile games that just don't get released due to their expected revenue on the PS3. Or they will continue to get worse ports because they can't afford to put up the extra capital for spending an age optimising the game for the PS3.
People seem to think that once a devloper has turned out 1 game that is equal on both platforms that the "hard work is done".
That is complete bullshit, its like adapting to a disability. You lose an arm and after a while you will learn to compensate through other means.
But this is the real world, your not going to have some "Dare Devil" scenario in real life where you lose your sight and suddenly you can hear better and become a super hero.
Its been said over and over, its a total pain in the arse developing for the PS3.
What about all the other developers who haven't got the man power\$$$ to invest like EA?
