But there isn't that many, compared to other genres. I mean, we've got 2 above average JRPGs (Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata) and that's it. These JRPGs you're speaking of may be on handhelds but the topic on consoles, specfically the 360, and thus my statement remains.

And again, regardless of any platforms JRPGs aren't the big sellers they used to be. I'll be surprised to anything cross a million that isn't DQ, FF, or Pokemon.

It's because they are on Xbox360. Microsoft paying Japanese companies to make JRPG is slowly alienating the JRPG fanbase in Japan.

 

Wut. If anything its getting them more RPG fanbase. And not just in Japan, RPG fans in the states and europe are looking forward to these games too.

 

I wouldn't say RPG fans, more like JRPG fans, since hardcore fans of WRPGs hate JRPGs because there is "little to no actual roleplaying in them"

 

 

 If that was true then nobody would really care about FFXIII coming to 360. And I've seen on the internet, many many 360 owners care.
