Ubisoft also completely failed to take control of the situation and release a statement that it was only a forum moderator shooting his mouth off. I never really doubted that Ubisoft had core games in the works for the Wii, but the laughable and pathetic PR at Ubidays, on account of that moderator, and lack of a response to both, provided quite a bit of amusement.

1. They did. The locked the thread that started this, and in the closing message, they stated that guy's low opinion of Wii owners was not Ubisoft's opinion.
2. That I'm not disputing. It would have been even better damage control to announce sooner they were actually working on Red Steel. But maybe they are taking a cue from Nintendo and not announcing games before the time is right. Although the timing for those other games could have been better...
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
