I sort of noticed that. They upped the RAM from 32MB to 64MB - but unless the code KNOWS to look for more RAM than expected (and its easily addressable) - it won't make any difference. New games can use the extra RAM - but only as cache (can't rely on it). Can't have games working on the updated PSP, but not the old one... now can we ;) ... Also surprised by the battery. It actually has the SAME battery life as the old model - but with a lower amphour battery? Not exactly sure what the point is - but they can upgrade the battery later. ... The NEW,smaller battery has the same life. The older battery, which is in PSP's now, will extend the battery life.
