^I agree with you that the Wii is more powerful than anything last gen but not by much. As far as Multi-platform games go I don't think you will see many games that appear on all three platforms that use that same graphics engine. Most likely you will see a 360/PS3 version and a separate Wii version. As the PS2 becomes less and less popular, the devs will write the game for the Wii instead of porting it from the PS2 to the Wii.

This will be good for the Wii as a separate version of the game can allow for the developers to concentrate more time into the motion controls instead of just tacking them on.

But OT, I don't think GI is disrespecting the Wii. Most of their game scores are right in line with the critic average. Its a fact, the Wii has a lot of crap games and these games have been reviewed justly. But the Wii also has quite a few gems that GI has rated high along with the rest of the gaming critics.
