Check the software sales figures for graphic design software and then see if your sweeping generalization isn't about as useful as most generalizations.

 

 

Grampy.. I'm a graphic designer.. most of the software sales of the Adobe software are indeed for the PC but that is including the schools and other people who buy Photoshop, lightroom etc.. If you're gonna go specific into graphic design (Indesign, illustrator, Acrobat) then you would see almost everybody uses a Mac.. Why? because a Windows system hasn't got good Offset support.. What you see on your screen in Windows is not what you get on Offset.. especially the font system is really bad (TrueType is useless for Offset).. it may look good on screen but you will get in troube while bringing it to offset.. And you don't want to mess that up because offset is really expensive... you don't want to reprint everything... that's why we use a mac to ensure that we have the best possible recreation of the design..
