So fast to jump at Sony fanboys when it is blatantly obvious your nothing more than a wiiboy. Sorry, but Wii's are no longer supply constrained, I could go get one at any point I choose at my local Gamestop, EB, or Walmart. Onine they are even more abundant. Your a "family man"? I truly figured you were a child, hopefully at least you were just angry and do not teach your children to act this way, it's despicable. BTW, wasn't Moore just canned :p |
I'm not at all defending his post, Vizunary -- I agree, he's a fanatic and deserves to be shot down -- but the Wii is definitely still supply constrained. I can tell you with absolute certainty that every Toys R Us in Saint Louis is sold out of Wiis, and given that I get 10-20 requests a day for Wiis, I would guess that everyone else is, too (they say things like "Gosh, I can't find one anywhere!" or "How can I get one of these things?"). Even look at Amazon: they're sold out, and unlike PS3s, they're not even taking preorders. Look at this page:

First, notice that the Wii has moved back up to number two, and second, notice that it says "See all buying options" instead of "add to cart," like everything else does, including the PS3. That's because the Wii is not only sold out, but so high in demand they aren't taking preorders! Also, look at the fact that "used" Wiis are selling for almost four hundred dollars!
Also, look here:
The Wii is at 10 percent availability, which is 1 percent lower than it was last time I looked... in March. Perhaps it's not constrained where you are, but it absolutely, positively is in most parts of the country, as you can plainly see. I do want to emphasize again, however, that "scorptile" was deliberately inflammatory and is a fanboy. I'm not taking away from that.
