Yes I can say you have no idea what you are talking about, the only "Big" games I know of coming to the ps3 is little B planet,MGS4, FFXIII,KIllzone2,and infamous. Those are next year games. Alot of games are coming to the ps3 console this year this fall. Well now that I think of it big ps3 games are coming out next year, but also this year. |
Zelda didn't sell all that well in Japan, actually, and it didn't seem to move Wiis. The Wii is sold out everywhere despite Zelda being old news. Further, Zelda was available on the gamecube, so you didn't need a Wii or to pay even close to $210 to get it.
Little Big Planet -- what's the hype like for that in Japan? I'm betting it isn't hotly anticipated
MGS4 -- not a big franchise in Japan
Killzone 2 -- if the best FPS doesn't do well in Japan (Halo) than why would the sequel to a mediocre one?
Final Fantasy XIII -- is this going to be released in 2008? I wouldn't be surprised to see it slip into 2009, even in Japan. With the PS2's installed base of > 20 million in Japan, Final Fantasy 12 sold over 2 million units! Don't expect Final Fantasy 13 to approach that level of success on the PS3, however, because there won't be a 20 million unit base anytime soon.
