1) Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars. The developers listed Abe's Oddysee as their main design influence, and that's all I need to know to be hyped about this title.

2) Fatal Frame IV. Honestly, I'm not even through the first game yet, but I'm loving it so far.

3) Oboro Muramasa Yotuden. So long as it's just Odin Sphere minus horrid framerate drops, it'll be a day-one buy for me.

4) Eternity's Child. Lovely art style, and only five bucks.

5) Deadly Creatures. I'm very curious to see how this game works out, in the sense that it seems like an intriguing experiment in perspective. That, and ever since seeing Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, I've always wanted to play a game as a scorpion.

Edit: And as a bonus, those are all third-party games. =P

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
