I think the funny part of this whole argument is that both game are seeing incredible sales... I mean Both games have sold around 6.5 million without ANY holiday season to help boost it.
The only games released so far this gen that can say this so far are GTA4 and Halo 3.
WiiFit is also atomic. If you think about the Wii has 3 Halo esque selling games, not including WiiSports (even though it is the best system seller in history), or SMG (if its legs were holding up better I would say it was...)
WiiPlay does not count... No one buys a Wii for WiiPlay, heck, probably 70% of people don't buy WiiPlay for WiiPlay.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
