Doesn't really contradict my arguement but I personally just can't use a joystick for a fighting game. Perhaps its easier on soul calibur due to the 8-way run but for 2D fighters like MK and street fighter and 3D fighters like Tekken...not so much. But if you can use them, have fun with them!

Yeah to be honest I'm inclined to agree, there is something very "precise" about the Dual Shock controller it does feel more intuitive and I can react quicker with it in fighting games.
I think before I actually used the 360 controller a lot I'd have completely agreed, but when you get used to the analogue stick on the 360 it is *almost* as good as the dpad on the Dual Shock for some things and vice versa for others...
oranges and apples, or swings and roundabouts as they say, I think I have this thing where I *want* to like using the analogue stick because it seems abit more arcadey lol...I did buy an Virtua Fighter 5 EX2 fighting stick by hori but I find it feels abit cheap (no microswitches on the buttons, only the joystick)...again I *try* to like that...
Just a matter of getting used to it I spose like with the controllers.
