Isnt gear overtracked by some 500k here? maybe they reconsiled that and I never saw.
Also, nice work compiling the list. You should update it once a month in a new post and link it back to this one so we can keep track. Everyweek would be too much, but it would be fun to be able to see the sales growth on a monthly basis.
Edit- also, I just notice this is usefull because it shows that even though the 360 have a couple more Double Plats, the Wii's are higher. The 360 has 9 2.5 (or so) and below, but the Wii only has 4. That means if you said 2.5 and up the Wii would have a huge advantage even with 1 year less of sales time.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
