If it wasn't for the huge-ass channels I'd be able to keep my games on the console... as it is I have 4VC games on SD at the moment.
Admitedly I didn't play them anymore but it's just nicer to have them all together.

Because you don't quite get 512MB of storage (Forcast, News, Photo and Mii channels are presumably part of that 512 but you cant delete them) I think by the end of the Wiis life the system memory might actually fill up with just Channels (including game specific like MK and Wii Fit channels)
I reckon I would need an extra 1-2GB for VC and Wiiware... so if they could (if it's possible) open up the SD card to work with the Wii menu then I would be fine.
