Actually, Vgchartz tracks sold figures and not shipped ones. Additonally, if you're referring to NPD figures, Vgchartz tracks the whole Americas (North and South America) whereas NPD only tracks the United States. When you leave out 600 million people, you're bound to have some number discrepancies (in reference to the difference between NPD and Vgchartz).
