Still this is a new patent of an old implementation, on the N64 days there was an add-on to the control (Where you can put the Rumble Pack or the Memory Card) and it came with a wired plug to put it you ear (More like a claw) and with that the game could read your heartbeats (The only demo they showed was a tetris I think were if the game got more heartbeats per minute the game was more difficult, and the opposite could happen if you relaxed a little)...
Even so, a sequel of ED with that kind of tech would be great...
