A mention that the Mario and Zelda teams are hard at work. I understand how many would think that's not enough but was it any less revealing than the God of War III teaser which got many Sony fans pumped? Would people really have been much happier if Nintendo showed a teaser going through Mushroom Kingdom and at the end Mario jumps up saying "Itsa me, Mario!" with no release date info or anything resembling gameplay? The vast majority of Nintendo fans will freely admit Sony had a better E3 showing than Nintendo as far as core gamers are concerned, but we also know why it turned out the way it did thanks to the post-E3 interviews with Iwata and Miyamoto. It's not really "blind allegiance" as you call it. I simply realize the fact that Wii Music releasing won't affect me if I don't play it. I don't have anything to "get over". But the fact that Mario, Zelda, and Pikmin are on the way is definitely good news. I won't enjoy them any less if other casuals are enjoying Wii Music. |
At least sony went through the trouble of spending a bunch of money on a 5 second clip?
I mean... it does kinda show effort.
