An argument I would accept is "Nintendo hasn't offered any NEW IPs this Gen".
However... look back at Nintendo's library... they've already offered one game for most of their most valued IPs. And there's pretty strong hints that more games are coming (Kid Ic, Fzero, more Mario/Zelda/Pik/Poke/Etc)... and they've release info about more Wiisportsie/musicie stuff as well as Animal Crossing (which I hate but lots enjoy... stupid DS game that I own... gr..) How can they be dissed, really? First party stuff for Nintendo has, in the past 10 or so months, already hit a several home runs. They've received 'breaks' before. Can't they get a couple months reprieve now? As far as I'm concerned it should be third parties who are to blame for the lack of "new" stuff for Wii.
C'mon guys. Lots of us have it, already. We like it. Give us some stuff that isn't SOOOOOO niche, thanks.
(or just announce DQ10 for Wii and I won't care about anything else, thanks)
Also... doesn't anyone else from the 80s remember just how much CRAP was released on the NES? AND the SNES??
