Iwata:Nintendo ignoring core gamers, misunderstanding we want to get rid of

How could they predict that the wii would not do this well in America. I can understand the initial under estimating, but they should of figured it out over a year ago.  All they have to do is compare how well the GC sold here to other places and they should of known better.
