If we focus between the PS3 and Xbox360 that are competting for the same nich, Xbox360 is cheaper, possess plenty of good game, and just stolen a lot exclusivity. At the opposite, PS3 is more stable that Xbox360 that possess a 30% failure rate, but since microsoft give back ur money ...it is not as bad for Xbox360. And what about sales ?
PS3 sales = Xbox360 sales.
And in fact last week, PS3 sales > Xbox360 sales.
and I dont even mention that EXCEPT UK, PS3 is over Xbox360 in all the others PAL country.
Believe me, Microsoft may have sold 10 M console, their main user base is in NA
It would be hard for sony to compete Microsoft in NA
But out of NA, Micrsooft is nothing.
European people are draming about Wii and PS3
Japanese people are dreaming about Wii.
And Who need to buy a xbox360 ?
TRUE exclusive game (not coming to PC) : Mass Effect and Halo3 : 2 games MAN !!!!
Mass Effect : may be the better westernRPG
but it is not something that really appeal casual console gamer that is not used to play a lot of RPG
Halo3 : big point for North Amercia market, OK
but who cares in europe or in japan ?
Sony exclusive for 2007 :
Heavenly Sword (I predict it will be the system seller) / Lair / Unchartred / Haze / UT3 (both timed exclusive) / GT5 prologue / Folklore / Eye of Judgement / Ratchet on clank
