But there are other ways to protect the kids than limiting the core gamer as well. Parents need to take more responsibility and set parental controls thus the rest of us won't have to suffer with a limited online setup.

The problem isn't related only to kids but to everyone that want live an online experience but are put off by stupid teen agers.

The principle obstacle in online experience diffusion is the behaviour of users themselves ...

I think tht a unified friend code system would be a great improvment.
