Not to troll, and you can yell at me for not doing my research, but could someone explain to me why Gears of War 2 would get anywhere near Game of the Year? To me it just looks like more enemies, more features, improved combat, and slightly improved graphics. Seems extremely derivative, not anything "OMG special" GOTY material.
I think Spore will get the most praise, and Left 4 Dead will be my GOTY. Brawl deserves praise but it'll keep getting shot down ultimately because of the online system.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
