Well it would if Nintendo had bothered to tell people BEFORE the convention instead of letting them get their hopes up.

 

Who's hopes?  I told people from the start it was going to be a boring E3 from everyone, Nintendo included.  Not my fault no one listened.

Good for you.  You get a pat on the back.

The problem is that the internet is full of people who predict more random things every day... and no one cares.  It's when Nintendo says things themselves that people should (and do) listen.
