Well, the High Voltage guys have hit the jackpot. The Conduit looks lika a generic alien FPS. Sure, it looks very nice, but still generic. The overall suckage on the Wii hardcore scene has skyrocketed this title into hype heaven. It really puzzles me how any of the big publishers didn't figured this out (except ubisoft with RS). With just some hard work in the graphics department and a hardcore orientated title, they could've generated tons of hype with minimal marketing, and almost ensure good to great sales for the title, while all other publishers are pushing hard to be a casual market contender.
