Square-Enix using Nintendo to pay for Final Fantasy 13 etc?

But hey, RPGs are a great "bridge game".  Look at Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft.  People of all ages, all races, males and females.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Square Enix is working on something big for Wii.  Maybe Chrystal Chronicles:CB won't suck; Maybe it's something unexpected; like DQIX on DS.  I bet SE wishes that hadn't sunk millions into PS3/360 's FFXIII, and had been developing it cheaper and faster on Wii.

I would rather have FFXIII (and DQIX for that matter) on an HD console, but it isn't a smart move when they aren't the market leader for a "bridge game" like an RPG and cost way too much to make.

Two Tales games are announced for Wii.  Thats one more than 360 and two more than PS3.

RPGs sell well to casuals.  Look how well they sold on PS2.
