I have heard of this trend and as a longtime gamer I know that often the games that have the initial "WOW this is fun" factor are also the ones that go flat very fast. Conversely often games that start out as "omg this is so slow I want to kill myself" blossom into the deepest and entertaining experiences. And the greatest games of all time have been the ones that WOW'ed you from day one but moved you even after the 100th time you've played it.

So my point is: If someone has bought a Wii just for Wii sports or for shits and giggles here and there they most likely will get bored of it. The question is how do we get these people to smarten up and enjoy the real gems of the system. Truth is: I don't know. I tried to get my GF to play Zelda and RE4 on Gamecube I almost put my head through the wall.

(Ironically she does well with Zelda DS and and thousand year)

LOL!
