You are incorrect, these numbers are 100% legit coming from sony themselves, jack tretton announced the ps2 had sold 143 million consoles since its launch to this date, at there press conference, also he added that 140 million of those ps2 sales, are from consumers, Therefore, you are incorrect, and are NO ONE to question these numbers

 

Hmmm. The only other hit I get with a google search for the term 143 Million, Tretton and PS2 is a gametrailers forum post by Leo-J. That's an odd coincedence...

Sadly calling him Leo-J is an insult to Leo-J.  The only way I see PS3's reaching 150 million is if they somehow get PS3 ahead of the blu-ray curve and make it the cheapest blu-ray out there... and blu-ray becomes the dominant format.
