It's been a while since last I played, but I do remember that if you hit a zombie in the face with a creme pie, he's unable to bite you. Plus it looks hilarious. Not sure how useful that is, though. Sorry.
Edit: Oh, and watch out for female zombies. They are a serious pain and capable of making lightning fast grabs for Frank West's junk. One of the hazards of being such a damned stud, I guess.
