Your DS turns off when pressing some button - say, for instance, the "B" button? It doesn't always happen but occasionally does especially when you're in the heat of battle?

Searched online for similar experiences but couldn't find anything related to your problem?

I am 99.97% sure I know what happened to your DS. I had the exact same issue

Basically, you've been overzealously playing your games. You've probably been playing the same game for a while and repeatedly pressed this button (typically the "jump" or "attack" button), and, given your big hands (I have big hands as well) you've pressed too hard for too many times, and now you are the proud owner of a DS with a cracked mainboard

This happened with me and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - damn jump button!

You will need to get it replaced by Nintendo or your nearest service center. I returned mine to the store where I bought it, and he returned it to Nintendo on my behalf, and I promptly received my DS a few days later. The storeowner told me he had never heard or seen this happen before.

Anyhow, good luck!

Oh no dude. I bough the DS in US, I can`t return it to the store. Can`t ship it to the US either. I already sent NOA an e-mail. I hate myself. I should either find a friend that plans to go to the US soon or void the warranty making some crappy repairs. I have more respect for the gameboy now, it does not break.
