Come now, just because seven of the nine games are shooters, doesn't mean there's not variety there. You can shoot Nazis in Europe, Japanese in the Pacific, aliens in space, aliens on other planets, terrorists in the Middle East, a bunch of dudes in the jungle, or aliens on Earth.
Variety!
But I do agree with megaman2's sentiments, if not his list. There's just too many good games coming out soon, and school will consume every penny I have as it is.
