I loved the show. I thought the rebellion of the people against Simon was a bit far fetched. Looking at history, it's very hard for impossibly popular people to have everyone turn against them. Look at George Washington. The Alien and Sedition Acts did nothing to his popularity. This kid freaking saved everyone's life and allowed them to come above ground. He killed the dictator oppressing them all and gave them a new life. People don't forget that quick.

Well they blamed him for the moon falling down and their coming extinction.
Atleast they survived underground. Now they were all going to die because they were forced to go on the surface(remember some tribes didn't want to go to the surface but they were forced by Rossiu for the head count)

The people also became materialistic which is understandable, comparing it to todays society.
Back in medievel times people would be grateful for their lives even if their town got trampled by the king's army to protect them from invaders. Compare it today, civilians would get angry if their home was used by the army for defense and got destroyed in the process. They would whine and ask for compensation( atleast I think I would have) just like in the show.
