Sony is phasing out the 60 gb to be replaced by the 80gb

I'm starting to hear conflicting points.

It is well known that the EE was removed from European PS3's, but that the GS was left. This made sense, cause the setup was similar to this:



Recently, I listened to a 1up podcast that said EE+GS were both on one chip, and that it was being removed.



Does anyone have indisputable evidence either way that the EE and GS was a two chip setup and only EE was removed, or that EE+GS were removed because it was only on one chip???
