PS2 obsolescence predictions?

i think production will end in 2010
but games will still be coming out for it like Madden in 2011
Sony should make a deal that anyone who buys a PS2 this fall and on gets a cupon type deal in the Ps2 package to get $50 off a PS3 since Sony will no longer be supporting PS2 B/C in the new 80Gb this fall
