I think the reasons the Wii is winning is because it has the most focus on oldschool gamers, the most focus on casual gamers, the most focus on non-gamers, the most focus on relapsed gamers, the most focus on new gamers, and yes, the most focus on snobcore gamers.
I think it was a very telling moment for the industry when Nintendo was the only company to not announce movies at E3. They only announced games.
