Hmm -- i understand why SONY didn't buy FFXIII exclusives at the moment -- however they should invest in more SE shares ASAP -- if they get 15-20% then they will have a strong say in the company and should be able to get timed exclusives or prevent M$ from getting SE exclusives.
As for other companies - SONY just needs to expand on its own development teams and try to sort out both PSP and PS3 and PSN development while also providing third parties with the tools to create good games on these platforms aswell...
Hopefully next-gen SONY will be smart enough to have some internal developers working on new games so SONY gets a steady stream of good exclusive PS4 games ( like 1 per month?)
