Well, ususally, there isn't much hype for any game outside of the internet until it is about to come out which is when all of the marketing happens.

Zack and Wiki was in a genre that doesn't sell very well.  The Conduit, on the other hand, is a FPS which happens to be one of the hottests genres right now
