What's the typical time frame in which new games see a reduction in price in the typical European nation? It seems longer than in the US, which in turn is longer than it is in Japan.

Games are discounted the fastest in the Japanese market due to the relatively front loaded sales of all games in the region.

Yeah, it's terrible here in Europe, well at least in the Netherlands where I live. I mean, I have yet to see any Wii games that have had a significant pricedrop, save for some odd titles is certain specific shops. A lot of stores are even still selling GameCube games at full price, and not even the good ones either, but the crappy 3rd party ones. It's kinda terrible. There are lots and lots of good games I'd really like to play and would definitely get without thinking twice, if only they weren't so expensive. Same goes for DS games, they never ever seem to drop in price. All launch titles still sell for full prices. Yuck. Also, I think DS games are way overpriced as is, I mean 40 Euros when quite a few Wii games for sell the same price or 10 Euros more is kinda absurd.

Terrible shame American games won't play on my Wii, otherwise I'd import like crazy, especially  since 50 American Dollars is roughly 30 Euros now. :( That's almost HALF the price. Extraordinarily crazy.
