I just love how people jump to conclusions and make over-the-top assumptions based upon what they've heard instead of actual experience. It's hearsay at its finest, condemning entire companies based on what you've heard instead of what you've actually seen and experienced for yourself.
The short of this is: instead of making yourself hate Nintendo for branching out, perhaps you should actually experience what they've done first, with an open mind and a willingness to change, before you judge them so harshly. Who knows? You might even find yourself having fun playing these games that are being reviled simply because they're not what people were expecting.
