Well, they're not really free, the price is included in the bundle. How about if they reworded the offer as "Get a PS3 for 1c with every Bravia TV purchase"?
When comparing software sales it's important to take into account actual installed base. Ignoring 60k+ PS3s in Australia which will make up ~20% of PS3's LTD will result in the appearance of multi-platform games over-performing on PS3, and under-performing on 360.
These will be included in Sony's shipment numbers anyway, so will probably end up being taken into account in someway.
Having said that, the Bravia PS3s will be sent "within 28 days of receipt of a valid entry". So it could be argued that they shouldn't be counted until they have been delivered, and until that time they are simply pre-orders. Afterall, games bought on Amazon prior to release date don't get tracked until they have been sent out, even if they have been paid for already.
