Reading through all your post history. Go to your profile and on the right side under "Recent Forum Activity" there's a link on the bottom that says "View all posts". I didn't think you sounded like a redneck, even if you might be from Tennessee. Maybe you're just focusing on the "hippy" comment. "Asshat" certainly doesn't make you sound like a redneck. Rocketpig uses that phrase regularly.
