9% market share for Xbox One, it's gonna be a long year for Microsoft. At least until November.

It isn't surprising with how the generation has gone for Microsoft. Things are looking up for the Xbox Series X with having 15 first-party studios, up from 5 a few years ago. Plus launching with Halo Infinite will give the console a decent start.

I'm kind of morbidly curious to see just how low it will go before it is replaced. Could we get to sub-30k weeks?

I didn't think there would be a direct this week, cos I'm a pessimistic dunce.

It's not impossible. I'm guessing it will be 30-40% down on average each week.

I'm guessing there will be cross gen games through holiday 2021. Once we get to 2022 we will start seeing first-party games ONLY release on Xbox Series X (and Xbox Series S if that is real).

If I recall correctly, Wii had a very good Holiday 2019, but tanked 2010 onwards.
