I can offer an amateur football story here and that is one of a goalkeeper who got hit at the head by a hard shot from short distance and looked disorientated after the hit. He conceded three embarrassingly easy goals in the same half and had to be substituted, because it was abundantly clear that something was wrong with him.

It's now confirmed that Ramos took down Salah and Karius. Talk about efficiency.

The history books will only remember real Madrid as the champions in 5 years time. People will talk about the 3 in a row with the likes of ramos and Ronaldo in the team. Nobody will remember these cynical actions that could have won them the game.

Well, English Premier League isn't doing to well over the last few days. First there will be games on Amazon Prime over the season but mostly ALL 10 Boxing day games will be on that ONLY from 2019-20 season.

Then that same season they over paid footballers will have a 'Winter Break'. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44414487

2016-17 season due to clashes, FA ties and such alike, Southampton played a total of 1 game in March. They don't need a Winter break, this will just add to issues.

But money talks apparently. Especially friendlies in China.

  1. Less importance to friendly matches and more importance to final round competitions, such as the FIFA World Cup Finals
