@sharky - of course I know...but that's my point. You're supposed to TRY and stay hidden. Which is what I'm doing in Killzone all the time. In MAG there is no trying. I could just sit in a spot for a year and you'd never notice me. I'm not saying that's neccessarily a bad thing...but i deffinitley don't suck at the game. For the time I played it I
mircd ppl.

MAGs main selling gimmick, the 256 players, is a farce. It breaks people up so your playing with much much smaller numbers almost the entire time, thus making it resemble many other FPS games already out, so then it has to fall back on things like graphics, campaign, gameplay which are poor, non existant and seen a million times already.

Because of that and it's 77% Meta I believe no one will be talking about this game a couple of weeks from now.

The 256 players thing could have been much more than just a 'gimmick', it could have been awesome for those who like big battlefields full of soldiers. If it's true that it breaks the players up in small isolated squads then I'm not sad that this game will fail.

I didnt care for the beta much so I skipped it, bought Mass Effect 2 instead.

I quickly looked through the first two pages. No MAG threads? :[

Does anyone else play it? Honestly its my favorite online shooter yet. I have so much fun with it. The scale feels so grand. And you feel like your in a real war. I really hope that more games start having massive game modes like domination.

to busy playing im loving MAG!!!! im always in an epic battle trying to stay alive kiling enemy forces while avoiding airstrikes etc. this game murders all others. to bad its to advance for whack cmpers/running and gunning reviewers. well so far the reviews been from 7-10's so its all good ^^.

ill notice you i love killing snipers and campers in MAG and if you do kill me ill know where you shot me from unlike others i dont need a kill cam i can tell by the direction my body fell and the shot indicator to know where youre at. so far from my experiene camping gets people no where kills, winning the game, etc.. i go around killing people while getting my objective done.

just look at the VGCHARTZ poll of the week and its the most anticipated game of january.

not MASS EFFECT2 or NO MORE HEROES2

actually i have to disagree. everyone is playing in the same map so you will see and ecounter other squads. when me and my squad destroy a raven bunker we move to the next bunker and then the next and then the one after helping the other squads and killing people other then the ones we were suppose too (i seen enemy squads do this too). it's no gimmick. the battles i get too are so intense considering i dont camp im always in the middle avoiding air-strikes, killing opposing enemies etc. (acquisition, domination). i find myself playing sobatage during the weekend more though i love the battles i get into that mode as well. the graphics are amazing for what MAG maps hold and do. the gameplay in MAG is easy to pick up and well done i have no problem with it (i also own in codmw, kz2, R2, U2, etc.). i think either youre a close minded person, fanboy, hard critic, wich none of them are good traits.

This..

There is some love, I bought MAG Day one hated it until the acquisition matches now I love it. I bought Mass Effect 2 Friday Night thinking I would soon play it. But MAG keeps drawing me in and I haven't started ME2. I think the game grows on you as you play it. This game is refreshing, but it is definitely not for everyone.
