Dragon Age or Demon's Soul?!!!! Need some answers!!!!

Total:0

I have enough cash for Dragon Ages or Demon's Soul.....which one is worth it?!!!

What the hell is that on top of my thread?

Favorite films. Foreign films forever!

You probably clicked "New Poll" instead of "New Thread"

Anyways the answer entirely depends on what type of gameplay you prefer.

Do you prefer 3rd person with combos/counters/parry/magic or click on an enemy and have the AI do the rest while you choose magic and/or skill.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I agree with Euphoria14. Also, Demon's Souls is a little bit harder than your typical games. If you have the patience, Demon's Souls can be very rewarding.

At some point, something must have come from nothing...

...nothing can come from nothing...

I don't know because I haven't played Demons Souls (yet!), but Dragon Age is worth every penny and then some!

I say Demon's Souls, but I'm totally biased in that regard, so don't trust my opinion.

Dragon Age is a game where you can easily click on an enemy and wait until they die. In Demon's Souls you need to constantly make sure of what you are doing during combat or seriously pay the price.

I wonder if I am the only one in here that has invested 60+ hours into both titles.

I can tell you anything you need to know about both, so feel free to ask away.

Demon Soul is amazing, but difficult.

I'd buy demon soul.

It really depends on your tastes in RPG's.

Dragon Age: Origins is more focused on the Traditional aspect of WRPG's, much more in the likes of Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale and such. It's a really tactical RPG which has lots of micromanagement and AI plotting in order to succed.

Demon's souls is not your average RPG. It really doesn't fit into either the JRPG or WRPG category, as it takes a bit from both, imo. It's a very hard RPG, with a disturbingly steep learning curve, so the initial frustration can drive you away if you don't have patience and persistance required for it.

It's also one of the best RPG's ever made, it's extremely well balanced and no death is ever cheap, since the game gives you plenty of chances to survive, as long as you have the skills required for it. Also, it's story is very muted, as it happens along the game, so you'll have to keep a very keen attention to every small detail and NPC dialogue in order to understand the game world.

Actually, I may be the only one here who has logged +100 hours in both of them, in multiple playthroughs .

I kid, i kid, there are a lot of people in here who have enjoyed both :)
