Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

Early 90's- PC games from that era are beyond epic. There are also some astonishing games from the mid 90's so that period is a really close second!

PC games in the Early 90's.......

Number Munchers? Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? Oregon Trail?

Those were some great games.

Okay, let's see, here's a couple;

Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos (1993)

Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny (1993)

Realms of Arkania: Star Trail (1994)

Betrayal at Krondor, imo the among the very best games ever made (1993)

Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss (1992)

Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds (1993)

Pirates! Gold (1993)

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers (1993)

Sam & Max Hit the Road (1993)

Dark Sun: Shattered Lands (1993)

King's Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder! (1990)

King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow (1993)

Darklands (1992)

King's Bounty (1991)

Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight (1992)

Wolfenstein 3D (1992)

Doom (1993)

Cannon Fodder (1993)

X-Wing (1993)

Wing Commander (1990)

Syndicate (1993)

Civilization (1991)

Champions of Krynn (1990)

Street Fighter II (1991 and onwards)

Mortal Kombat (1992)

D&D: Secret of the Silver Blades (1990)

D&D: Dragonstrike (1990)

D&D: Eye of the Beholder (1990)

Dune (1992)

Neverwinter Nights, the very first MMORPG (1991)

Sim City 2000 (1993)

Dungeon Hack (1993)

Ishar: Legend of the Fortress (1992)

Ishar II: Messengers of Doom (1993)

Ultima VI: The False Prophet (1990)

Ultima VII: The Black Gate (1992)

Alone in the Dark (1992)

Dyna Blaster (1990)

Bomberman II (1991)

Lemmings (1991)

Might & Magic III (1991)

The Secret of Monkey Island (1990)

Monkey Island II: Lechuck's Revenge (1991)

Day of the Tentacle (1993)

Police Quest: Open Season (1993)

Populous II (1992)

Commander Keen (1990)

Duke Nuke 'Em (1991)

Space Quest IV: Roger Wilko and the Time Rippers (1991)

Test Drive III: The Passion (1990)

X-Com (1993)

The 7th Guest (1992)

The 7th Guest Part II: The Eleventh Hour (1993)

Blake Stone (1993)

Bear in mind that many of these games actually founded several genres we're still loving today. Yeah, clearly only shit games on the PC in the early 90's. Only like 6-7 genre inventing titles. Utter crap, all of it.

Edit; i just noticed that the category was actually 1990-1995, in which case this list would probably get twice as big since I was nice and stopped at 1993 (early 90's). Should I add more or is this list sufficent?

This gen gave me the Wii series, 4 Zelda games, 3 Mario, Megaman 9&10, and LostWinds.
This gen also introduced me to Touhou (and shmups in general) and Dragon Quest.

N64 was the greatest

the 80s why? because of the nes .. the greatest gaming console of all time damn it.. it had all the games

SNES era followed by the PS1 era

At some point, something must have come from nothing...

...nothing can come from nothing...

Playstation 2 was the Golden Age, I don't care what anyone says.

Honestly, do JRPG makers even realize how hard it is to save the world? That shit is impossible!
