Jet Moto (Before I decided to buy the disc versions of PSX games) and Final Fantasy VIII (Marks my 4th copy of the game. Top that jneul! That's right I'm calling you out on how much more I like Final Fantasy VIII than you!)

lol I own the pc version as well does that count, and I had posters and some action figures for FF VIII as well, I am definately FF8 mad

I think this is the third time i have played through FF8 a well (1st time on PS1, 2ND time on pc, 3RD time on my PSP). Anyway I am glad to see other people who love this as much or even more than me!!

I've beaten this game 3 times, tried to beat it 5 or 6.  Twice when I got it, another time last year on PS2 (Texture smoothing is soo nice).  My failed attempts were actually with the PC version and PC methods.  Now I'm just casually playing it when I have time on my PS3.  I was actually trying to trick you into a childish banter about who likes the game more and then agree that the game is amazing; though you ruined that plan now didn't you.

naa i had you all figured out ya see but yeh my pc attempt i never finished as well, plus i cannot play it on windows 7 for some strange reason lol

it's the future of handheld

It's a driver thing with video cards.  Game came out a long time ago even before the Geforce 2 card from nvidia hit.  I remember I had to do a lot of fancy to get the game running on my PC at the time.  When you run with newer video cards you get these glitches too.  There was a site chronicling this stuff.  Not worth it to figure out.  Just use that trusty Playstation Emulator; game looks SOOOOOOO much better.

I bought FFVII and sold my original discs for $50 on eBay. I'm not a collector, so it worked for me. I also have FFVIII discs and MGS discs but they don't sell for as much. I was annoyed with Vagrant Story back in the day, so no go there. I wish they would put Chrono Cross on PSN, I would jump at that.

Crash Bandicoot, Syphon Filter and Crash 3

The first two destroyed my faith in PS Classics, then I saw Crash 3 and I was converted for a while, then I realised that PS1 games just haven't aged well, not even the classics, so I'm not going to LOOK at FF7 or MGS.

Funny you say that because I believe 16 bit games have aged much better than 32bit/64bit games. PSOne/Saturn/N64 all look terribly blocky, wobbly, pixelated and worst of all the gameplay is quite shit in the majority of the games even in a lot of the classics. On the other hand I can still go back and whizz around in Sonic, lose myself in some Mario magic, play on screen multiplayer Streets of Rage etc etc and the colourful graphics are still quite easy on the eye.

- Suikoden (bring on Suikoden II)
- Wild Arms (battling was kind of boring; I was mostly selecting attack)
- Wild Arms 2
- Silent Hill
- Final Fantasy VIII

I will buy Vagrant Story when it gets here; my disc is scratched.

Final Fantasy VII and Suidoken

Legacy of Kain : Blood Omen :P
Will get Soul Reaver soon :P hehe
