Wonder why there is no thread about it allready. What will galaxy do in its first week/month (3 weeks)?
TheSimeExchange has is currently at 2 Million for 3 weeks, U.S. only. That would be about 2.2 Million VGC.
To remember: Sunshine did 3.73 Million in US+CA total Super mario 64 6.87 Million in US+CA.

I would say, 450k first week 1.1 Million first month (3 weeks) 7.5 Millions lifetime.

I can't be arsed to look up all the numbers, so I'll say that I think first week sales will be a slightly better than Mario Party 8, it will begin to drop off quickly, but thanks to the holiday buying season it will have strong 3rd and 4th weeks to edge out MP8 for first month.
