I kinda fear for Red Steel 2 though.
They didn't even mention it.
Delayed further? Going to PS3? Not a good game? argh...

They have probably reduced expectations but otherwise it'll be out.   Unless they market this strongly I don't see it selling well either.

Red Steel 2 will be a million seller. Every Wii fan has wanted a sword fighting game since the Wii remote was first revealed. Now Red Steel 2 is offering a sword fighting game using Motion+. Wii gamers will be all over this game, just watch.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

good bye and good riddance like someone said nintendo don't need third party they can do it alone. everyone knew that if third parties kept on making horrible games people would sooner or later will not buy them. the back lash is good i hope those games bomb and they wonder why nintendo games do well. 3rd companies always have or had a player haters mentality towards nintendo they can't stand their success. nintendo software sales worldwide is almost triple some of these other publishers. it has too be jealously and hate towards nintendo. the non gamer know only one publisher they can trust and that is nintendo because if it doesn't say nintendo it doesn't mean quality.

80+ 'ubiquistous' sofftware games on the Wii? No More Heroes 2 and Red Steel 2 shine like diamonds sitting on a mountain of shit.

And Little to no marketing what so ever

thanks for the list

out of about 30 games, we only have 3 worthy games, Tenchu, Rabbits, Avatar and maybe Broken Sword or Shaun White, which is less than 20% of their games

we have RedSteel 2, No More Heroes 2, Prince of Persia: forgotten sands and hopefully RRR if they don't migrate to HD consoles, so pretty much the same thing, more quality titles as Ubisoft said on their own

if RRR stays on Wii, Wii lose nothing, apart from the 20 shovelware let's say which we hate anyway, and sell nothing as seen above, i guess it's a reason some stores won't be selling shovelware anymore    : P

i guess it's a way for Ubisoft and Capcom to admit they make crappy games for Wii and announcing less quanity, more quality, more sales i guess?

I only read the first two pages of comments here...
Damn, what are some ppl of you talking about??

1st- CAPCOM is not leaving Wii, they only said they want to make less crap and more hq-games and I think that is the right way!
2nd- Most of what Ubisoft showed on Wii was crap, so if they now start thinking about it and realise it was not good - then it's good for us Wii users and gamers in general if they want to focus on hq-games
3rd- if Ubisoft would start make games for gamers on Wii AND start make marketing for those games (that is meant to all companies) they will also sell good!!!!

How can publishers think if don't make marketing for an AA(A)-title, "Oh why does that game dont sell? Why do noone know about that Game? Why does my crappy software that I have advertised in magazines sell better? I thought I dont need to advertise AAA-Wii games and they will sell, but that is not going like that - but why? On hd-twins where I advertise everything they do sell..."

Publishers and producers have to learn that advertiseing a game on Wii is the key to gamers.

Fercking Ubisoft should stop produceing crap for Wii (also for others) and only think about makeing hq-games.
If that means 360 and PS3 will each get 8 games a year and Wii only 3 or 4 ... GOOD IF THEY ARE AAA!!!!!!!!!

Greetings to everyone around the world!!

bye bye third party wii support

With support like that who needs enemies...

you have a point

i think less games is better, so they can stop making all those "imagine" & "petz" games and make a couple of QUALITY games.

agree with darthdago, pretty much what i said above

the only problem is RRR 4, i really love those rabbits and i don't think Rayman Raving Rabbits 4 will be the same succesful and funny on HD consoles, fits more to Wii style

hope Ubisoft doesn't make such a mistake, although i won't be surprised, they seen really pissed off that Rabbits go home is not that big in America

The more core market which had Wii's in year one would have yes.   That market is pretty much all multi-console now and RS2 would have to compete with CoD5, AC2, etc for those gaming dollars.   Don't see RS2 coming out ahead.

The more 'casual' Wii owners have no idea what Red Steel is.  Plus they got enough sword action in WSR for most of them.  Nor does RS2 allow you to play with/against your friend/kid/sibling/girl - a major oversight.  If this was Star Wars Jedi Knight Action it would sell 1m easy.   5m likely.

With lots of TV ads showing the 1:1 sword fighting and gunplay, it might hit 1m.  But I don't expect that kind of support.   Sales will like be closer to 500k.

wow I didnt know that TMNT was released.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
