The PS controller is second nature for me, I love the shapes. In fact, I have trouble for anything other than the shapes; Triangle, Square, Circle, X is very intuitive.

I hate that the new PES for PC all come with the 360 button layout instead of the PS one like the old PES, luckily I have memorized what button does what in the game, but in the tactics set up I always mess up, I wish they would have stuck with the more easily memorizable PS layout

I don't care what the buttons say on them. I call them ABXY. If I wanted to play with green triangles, pink squares, purple horseshoes, and green clovers, I'd be playing with my Lucky Charms.

PS controller's not that bad, 'cuz it's just abstract shapes that I refuse to memorize, and if a game has some QTEs that flash giant triangles and circles on the screen for me to continue a cutscene I just stop playing because that's really lazy game design and not actually fun. What really gets me is the 360 controller, that takes the alphabet formula and then intentionally does it backwards to piss me off. There's really no other reason for them to do that. They took something that worked and did it backwards to piss me off.

I had the same problem, but with the PS2/Xbox controller. When I was playing JSRF(My first Xbox game) it told me to press "X" to do something. After basically punching the A button I gave up. Didn't play again for like 2 months. >.< I felt so stupid

I never adapted either, and it bugs me when my friend tells me "press the TRIANGLE button!" when we're playing the 360. I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE THAT CORRESPONDS WITH!

I call them A B Left Right "The one on top!" and "The one on the right!"

Or for the Wii: "The big one!" or "The small one!" for the nunchuck ones.

Yes, people usually give me a "wtf?!" look, but the system works for me.

i never had a problem with thd ps controller however in fighting games in the move list i sometimes have trouble distinguishing between circle and square
