it deserved to win after so long. With them both being 299, there both amazong consoles, but the ps3 really does have the value factor

So guess there needs to be a rubber match some time in 2010.

They said this was the 3rd one, 360 won the first two.  Over time of course PSN has developed greatly and remained free, 09 exclusives were a little one-sided, PS3 got the price drop, and PS3 got the slim model.

I guess future matches will incorporate whatever changes may come...

Fairness FTW. I'm guessing then that one future match up will be Natal vs. the Sony motion control. I apologize the Sony control's name is slipping my mind ATM.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I know the launch 360s were bad but the jasper was released late in 08,their are enough of them out there now.So the ps3 really doesnt have reliability in total control anymore.

third time's the charm for PS3. Congrats and it was a great year for the PS3 indeed. It all came down to value that gave the PS3 the edge.

honestly, I thought it was pretty fair except for possibly the games section, but I thought the end result is a very reasonable conclusion if you aren't too interested in a BD player (but would like to have one since it IS included). However, if you ARE interested in a BD player by itself, its no contest and hasn't been ever since Sony dropped the price to $500.



Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

Finally, they get it right. There are a few things I disagree with though:

- PSN got 3/5...it isn't nearly that bad.
- "PS3 doesnt have backwards compatibility AT ALL." False...it can play PS1 games.

PS3 > 360 though, and even cnet agrees now. (I say that because cnet has been heavily MS biased in the past, and even takes their reviews from gamespot...'nuff said).
