Solid_Snake4RD said: don't know about 3DTV's but if you know know about them Can you tell me if a true 120hz TV selling today can display 3d?If it is this then why is Sony saying will unveil their 3D TV's next year when their bravia's can already project 120hz and more |
As far as I know, 120 Hz TVs which accept a 120 Hz input will be able to display 3D content. If you check out for example Samsung's 120 Hz projectors they say 3D-ready. There are not many such TVs in the market yet.
I'm not sure what Sony's plans are for 3D TVs, maybe those new ones have some fancier features. Maybe they include the glasses and the infrared emitter which is used to synchronize the glasses with the TV. But that's just my speculation.

wont bomb, tell you what will though.........sony wand & even more so Natal
I have a 3D capable TV. And Nvidia glasses...
There are 100s of games that are 3D ready on the PC. Why would I waste my time with
Avatar when I can play resident Evil 5 in 3D?
Actually why would I waste my time with Resident Evil 5 again when I can do Crysis? :)
Hmm...I doubt it. I just watched the GT Review and besides being good looking, the game is not anywhere near worth it.
Just watching the players move around with no lock-on, super loose movement and quick moving enemies just looks so painful. They mention the 3D part, but it looks like it's only when you're flying?
Doesn't really matter, the game doesn't look like it's worth anything more than a rent if you're bored.
Instead of Ewoks we now have Smurf looking NBA players.
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

50 times more pixel is necessary to make a 3d Tv without glasses ? So the resolution has to be 54000x90000 !
The success of a movie game does usually depend moreso on the movie rather than the game.
